Giới thiệu
CT3D’s 3D design and 3D scanning services in Vietnam turn whatever you have today – a physical part, a set of drawings, a sketch or just an idea – into reliable digital data that is ready for production. Our engineers capture objects with structured-light and handheld laser 3D scanners, process the data into clean meshes, and model parts in parametric CAD (Inventor, SolidWorks and NX) or with digital sculpting for artistic products.
Because design, scanning and manufacturing sit in the same company, every file is prepared with its next step in mind: draft angles and wall thickness for molding, tool radii for CNC machining, hollowing and split lines for 3D printing. Typical projects include remanufacturing discontinued spare parts, digitizing statues for restoration or scaling, developing enclosures and fixtures, and turning a startup’s concept into a first prototype.
Send STL, STEP, IGES or OBJ files, photos or a physical sample; we review the job and reply quickly with a quotation. Scanning can be done in our workshop or on site, and we sign an NDA on request. Use the guide below to pick the right service, or contact our engineers for advice.

Digitize physical objects with structured-light and handheld laser 3D scanners. We deliver point clouds and cleaned, repaired STL/OBJ meshes for reverse engineering, 3D inspection and 3D printing – scanning in our workshop or on site.
Parametric CAD modeling in Inventor, SolidWorks and NX, plus digital sculpting for artistic products. Delivered as STEP, IGES and STL with 2D drawings, DFM-checked for 3D printing, CNC machining or injection molding.
A complete scan-to-CAD workflow: scan the physical part, process the point cloud, rebuild NURBS surfaces and parametric CAD, then verify deviation with a color map – ideal for discontinued spare parts, legacy molds and parts with no drawings.
From sketches, reference photos or a written brief, CT3D engineers develop the concept, provide 3D renders for approval and turn them into production-ready files with a 3D printed test sample – shortening your time-to-market.
Manufacturing-driven industrial design: form, ergonomics, draft angles, parting lines and wall thickness are optimized from day one, reducing mold rework and machining costs later on.
Need engineering support for prototyping, material selection or choosing a production method? The CT3D engineering team responds quickly, proposes solutions and quotes from your CAD files (STL, STEP, IGES, OBJ) or physical samples.
How to Choose the Right Design or Scanning Service

| You have… | You need… | Best service | Typical deliverables |
|---|---|---|---|
| A physical object | Its shape in digital form, for reprinting, inspection or archiving | 3D scanning | Point cloud, watertight STL/OBJ mesh, deviation color map |
| A part with no drawings | An editable model to machine, mold or improve | Reverse engineering | STEP/IGES, native CAD with feature tree, 2D drawings |
| Drawings, sketches with dimensions or specifications | A production-ready 3D model | 3D CAD design | STEP/IGES, 2D drawings, or STL/OBJ for printing |
| An idea, a description or reference photos | A defined, tested design | Concept to 3D design | Renders, STL/STEP files and a 3D printed sample |
| A new product to develop for manufacturing | Form, ergonomics and DFM from day one | Industrial design | Optimized product design ready for tooling |

Frequently Asked Questions
Which service do I need if I have a part but no drawings?
Choose reverse engineering. We 3D scan the part, measure its mating features by hand and rebuild an editable CAD model (STEP/IGES) with 2D drawings if required. If you only need a copy of the shape for reprinting, a cleaned 3D scan mesh may be enough.
What is the difference between 3D scanning and reverse engineering?
3D scanning captures the surface of an object as a point cloud or STL/OBJ mesh. Reverse engineering uses that scan, plus hand measurements, to build a CAD model with nominal, editable dimensions that can be machined, molded or modified.
Can you design from a sketch or just an idea?
Yes. Our concept to 3D design service starts from a description, sketch or reference photo. Engineers define dimensions, materials and process, share renders for approval and can print a test sample.
Which file formats do you accept and deliver?
We accept STL, STEP, IGES and OBJ files, 2D drawings, photos and physical samples. Deliverables include STEP, IGES and native CAD files, 2D drawings, and STL/OBJ meshes for 3D printing.
Can you scan on site?
Yes. When an object is too large to move or is installed in a factory, CT3D can scan on site. Send photos and dimensions so our engineers can plan the job.
Are my files and designs kept confidential?
Yes. Customer data is used only for your project, and CT3D signs a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) on request.
Not Sure Which Service You Need?
Send a photo of your part, drawing or sketch and tell us what you want to achieve. Our engineers will recommend the right route and reply quickly with a quotation.
