Inside the CT3D Workshop

Our headquarters is in Binh Duong and our workshops are in Ho Chi Minh City, with further workshops and drop-off points across Vietnam. Design, scanning, printing, CNC, molding, finishing and packing happen under one team, so your project does not pass between unconnected suppliers.

How We Work

How CT3D works diagram – send files, engineer review, quote, production and finishing, delivery
From your file or idea to a finished part in five steps.
  1. 01Send files or an idea3D files (STL, STEP, IGES, OBJ), 2D drawings, photos or a short description. NDA on request.
  2. 02Engineer reviewOur engineers check the files and advise on technology, material and manufacturability.
  3. 03Quote and lead timeWe reply quickly with a quotation and lead time; work starts once you approve.
  4. 04Make and finish3D printing, CNC, molding, casting and painting in our own workshops.
  5. 05Check and deliverFinal checks, careful packing, nationwide delivery and international shipping on request.

3D Printing, Scanning & Mold Making Services @ CT3D GROUP

With a team of skilled artisans, engineers and technical specialists, we cover every engineering and manufacturing need your business has – from first design to finished product.

Digitize physical objects with structured-light and handheld laser scanners and receive point clouds and clean, repaired STL/OBJ meshes – ready for reverse engineering, 3D inspection and 3D printing. Scanning in our workshop or on site.

Parametric CAD modeling in Inventor, SolidWorks and NX, plus sculpted models for artistic products. Deliverables in STEP, IGES and STL with 2D drawings, DFM-reviewed for 3D printing, CNC machining or injection molding.

Scan-to-CAD workflow: scan the physical part, process the point cloud, rebuild NURBS surfaces and parametric CAD, then verify deviation with a color map – the answer for discontinued spare parts, legacy molds and parts with no drawings.

From sketches, reference photos or a verbal brief, CT3D engineers develop the concept, deliver 3D renders for approval and turn them into production-ready files with a printed prototype – shortening your time-to-market.

Industrial design built for manufacturing: form, ergonomics, draft angles, parting lines and wall thickness are optimized from the start, reducing mold rework and machining costs later on.

3D inspection: scan the part, compare it with the original CAD, generate a color deviation map, measure GD&T and prepare FAI reports – supporting incoming QC, mold acceptance and batch inspection, with on-site measurement at your factory.

Industrial CT scanning lets you see inside a part: analyze porosity, internal cracks and wall thickness, and check internal assemblies without destroying the sample (NDT) – for castings, metal 3D printed parts and electronic components.

SLM (Selective Laser Melting) metal 3D printing in 316L stainless steel, AlSi10Mg aluminum, titanium and more; tolerance approx. ±0.02 mm, build volume 250×250×300 mm. Post-processing includes stress-relief annealing, CNC machining of mating surfaces, bead blasting and polishing – orders from a single part.

SLA (stereolithography) printers with build volumes up to 800×800×500 mm and 25–100 micron layers deliver smooth, paint-ready surfaces – print statues, models and large product housings in one piece with minimal seams.

PA12 powder-fusion 3D printing (Multi Jet Fusion/MJP): strong engineering parts with consistent mechanical properties across all axes, no support structures and tolerances of approx. ±0.05 mm – ideal for low-volume production and functional assemblies.

SLA printing in black ABS-like resin for engineering and appearance prototypes: smooth surfaces, crisp details and better impact resistance than standard resin – for device housings, jigs and fixtures, and presentation models before committing to injection mold tooling.

Large-format multi-axis CNC milling of EPS/XPS foam from 3D files: mascot cores, architectural models, 3D letters and event props, plus cores for FRP composite lamination – fast cutting with low material cost.

CNC machining of solid wood, MDF and HDF from CAM toolpaths: 2.5D/3D relief carving, furniture components, table legs, wood molds and casting patterns – consistent tolerances and identical copies from the same program.

Composite FRP statues and mascots: 3D modeling, CNC foam or 3D printed forms, mold making, fiberglass lay-up and gel coat, reinforced steel frames – lightweight, weather-resistant, suitable for outdoor display and several meters tall.

Polyresin/polystone statues cast in RTV silicone molds taken from 3D printed or 3D scanned masters: sharp detail, a solid feel, and patina, faux-bronze or faux-stone finishes – runs from a few pieces to several hundred.

Decorative products and corporate gifts: designed around your brand identity, with master patterns, poly, plaster and clear resin casting and hand-painted finishing – consistent color and dimensions across every batch.

Large-scale FRP installations on site: entrance gates, landscape features, mascots and decorative cladding – from site survey and 3D modeling to module fabrication in our workshop, installation, joint finishing and UV-resistant coating.

RTV silicone molds from 3D printed masters: 15–20 PU vacuum casting shots per mold, and more than 50 casts per mold for composite and art casting. We advise on Shore A hardness, multi-part mold design, parting lines and air vents.

Need engineering support for prototyping, material selection or a production strategy? CT3D engineers respond quickly, propose solutions and quote from your files (STL, STEP, IGES, OBJ) or physical samples.
